Stop Waiting.
Hi.
My name is Charlotte and I am a procrastinator.
I like to think of myself as an organized, optimistic and "go-get'er" kind of gal, but I have recently noticed my lack of enthusiasm these days. There are so many things that I want to do, like take more photography courses, go back to university, get serious about yoga... the list never ends. My issue isn't a lack of ideas but it's the delivery of the ideas and the follow through.
I get excited about starting new activities in life, especially gathering all of the supplies (and beyond) that will help keep me organized and on top of everything. It's when the going-gets-tough that I am no longer interested and really lose all confidence in myself.
I promised myself that this year was going to be different and so far, I haven't let myself down! It has been a slow start and we are almost into April (yay!) so that means that I need to up my game. I need to take every opportunity that is put in front of me or I need to make opportunities for myself.
2015 is the year of determination and crossing those finish lines, friends!

A Sunday Well Spent.
Happy Palm Sunday, my friends!
Sunday's are my favourite day of the week! It's my designated day to connect with the Lord, get my thoughts in order, having 2 hour long phone conversations with my mother, and taking er' easy. And, it has "sun" in the name, and I love the sun, haha!
This Sunday, in particular, was a little better than the others. Not only was it Palm Sunday (which I totally forgot until this morning) but it was also the first day that it really felt like Spring.
The air was clear, the sky was blue and the sun beat down in all of it's warm glory. I truly felt like God was with me today. Walking along the path with my husband, myself and our two dogs. In the middle of our walk I stopped and thought to myself: "This is my life. I am truly blessed". It was such a great feeling and I am the first to admit that I do not show my appreciation to my husband, my family, or God as much as I should. I am so lucky to be where I am, to have what I have and to be who I am. And today really opened my eyes to that.

Start each morning with a positive thought.
Maybe you think about pouring that first cup of freshly brewed coffee (tea for me!) or what you want to accomplish that day. Then proceed to get out of bed, put on your comfiest sweats, and start your day :)
And for many of you, including myself, I know that when you look open the curtains or pull up your blinds, you will see the dreaded "s"-word everywhere. So, I suggest grabbing your favourite fruits, some OJ and yogurt, blending them all together, closing your eyes, and taking a sip of Spring!

Printemps.
For many of us Canadians and the Northern US, winter has made it's point and we get it already. It seems like spring will never come but it always does!
Soon, the snow will start melting, the grass will start showing and we will be able to walk outside in sweaters and be completely content.
Spring is my favourite season not only because my birthday is in the spring (April 10th!) but because I can feel the happiness in the air. The new moms are out walking with their strollers in packs, people are out for runs and dogs are frolicking around happier than ever that their owners will finally step outside from their winter hibernation!

I have not formally introduced myself, so here it goes!
My name is Charlotte Buckle.
I was born on April 10th, 1991.
I stand at a whomping 5 feet ..
I was born and raised in the Annapolis Valley in the magical province of Nova Scotia, Canada.
I now live in Western Manitoba with my incredibly rad husband of almost two years (June 1st!), our cat and our two dogs.
I am testing the waters of photography and decided that I wanted to share my work with the internet and also have this as a visual diary of sorts!
